WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?

When you arrive you can expect to be greeted with warm smiles and an open door. Services begin promptly and there are ushers willing to help you find what you need and answer any questions you might have.

What should I expect during the worship service?

Whether you are new to church or you have been attending church your entire life, the best way to follow along in the worship service is to grab a worship guide on your way in the door. Because we find our story in the the story of God’s work in and through His church through the ages, our music includes both ancient hymns and modern worship songs that are Biblically driven and Christ exalting. We are typically led through a variety of instruments, including the piano and guitars and occasionally you may even hear the hammer dulcimer or bagpipes. There will be prayer on behalf of God’s people and the world around us, as well as public readings of Scripture and confessions of our faith. You can also expect teaching and preaching that lifts high the name of Jesus and applies God’s Word to our lives today. We end each worship service remembering the gift of salvation in Christ Jesus, by celebrating the Lord’s Supper together.

HOW CAN I GET CONNECTED?

We are all about connecting with God and each other. There are four main ways to get connected: Attend a service, Join Us For A Fellowship Meal, Join a Small Group and Volunteer. If you haven’t already, take the first step and simply join us for a service.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

As a church, we invite children of all ages to be a part of the growing, thriving ministry of our church. With spaces for newborns and toddlers in our nursery and classes for preschoolers and elementary school every Sunday morning, we welcome your entire family to take part in learning and growing towards Christ as a part of our covenant-community.

Where should I park?

Calvary’s building is located on approximately 8 acres of land in North Raleigh, and can be somewhat difficult to locate from Ray Road, so be looking for the red Calvary sign (on the right from Leesville Road and on the left from Lynn Road). A long driveway will lead you to the back of the building where our parking lot begins and parking spaces are clearly marked

We welcome you to participate as you feel comfortable or to simply observe.
We would love to have you join us.
